Basketball and Myself

Basketball is the most popular sports in the whole world particularly here in the Philippines and most people give their extra time and extra money in order for them to watch the game and even playing basketball. As what I have observe in Manila City there’s so many Filipino people there who will give their extra time and extra money in order for them to watch the PBA game in Araneta Coliseum and sometimes in Cuneta Astrodome for them to enjoy seeing their favorite team and favorite player playing in the center court.

Presentation of Gospel

Most people think that they are deserving of heaven. They feel they have been good men or women and have lived their lives by the Golden Rule.

Grace. What people need to hear, though, is the Good News that heaven is a free gift. The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”—Romans 6:23. God goes on to say in Ephesians 2: 8,9 that heaven is not earned or deserved, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

The Fruit Mango

There was a yard that was full of mango trees and that trees are bearing lot of good fruits because there was someone who take care of it. Some mango trees don’t bear good fruit for it did not grow like the others. The Hardener loves his plants so much and he made everything for his plants. Just like here, there are many students here are studying and most them excel in their studies. Some are not for they did not do their best as what the other do. The mango trees is just like us who bears good fruit in all aspects of our life here and we do excel because of doing the best in all things. But there are not come from us, it came from God for He owns everything, He Is our source of knowledge and wisdom. Because of Him we bear good fruit through doing our best to Him and make Him our focused. Indeed God is so loving for He is there always caring us. He does His work very well for He wants us to feel His love. Just like what the hardener does, the mangoes will not bear good fruit if he did care for it and if He did love the trees he plant.

Music

Music has always inspired men in many ways. It touches lives and changes the virtual world into modes of life. It is an art that displays a very strong emotion. It ceases time and reminiscence some precious moments. It captivates the soul and creates a new conviction. It touches the seat of emotions and moves the listener within its horizon. It draws a soul nearer to God or nearer to men. It comforts and calms the chaotic mind. This is Music, the language that is spoken by everyone. It is alive and inhabits in an enchanted world.
